All schools have an emergency disaster plan in place. Staff members are First Aid and CPR certified and prepared to handle an emergency.
Fire and Earthquake drills are held once a month to familiarize staff and children on the procedures to follow in the event of an emergency. If the preschool is in a threatened area; all classrooms congregate in the church sanctuary. Teachers will bring their attendance clipboards and emergency contact information for students. We will wait in the sanctuary until advised by local authorities to evacuate. We follow the evacuation instructions of the local officials as to the location to evacuate to. Information of our location will be posted on website www.mtolivepreschool.net and our voice mail at the preschool office (858) 679-8169. You will also be contacted by the classroom emergency contact person. Be assured your children will be safe and well cared for until your arrival.
